Panelists include Barry Courter, Chattanooga Times Free Press; Taneisha Cordell, WRCB-TV; Ashley Henderson, WDEF-TV; and Kiley Thomas, NewsChannel 9.
Barry Courter is a staff reporter and columnist for the Times Free Press. He started his journalism career at the Chattanooga News-Free Press in 1987. He covers primarily entertainment and events for ChattanoogaNow as well as feature stores in the Life section. He previously worked as a reporter at WDEF-TV.
Taneisha Cordell joined Channel 3 Eyewitness News in 2016 after beginning her career with a television station in Kentucky. For the past three years at WRCB, Taneisha has covered severe flooding, storms, and tornadoes. She has challenged change in local government offices and has followed major local and national elections, along with presidential visits. In addition, she is determined to be a trusted advocate for those who feel they have no voice.
Ashley Henderson has been with News 12 Now for 21 years. Prior to working at News 12, he was a videographer, director, producer, and editor at Falcon Cable TV in Dalton, GA, for six years where he produced thousands of commercials and dozens of hour-long features. He also worked as a freelancer and employee at another network affiliate in Chattanooga. He has operated a part-time video production business from him home for 25 years.
Kiley Thomas joined NewsChannel 9 as a reporter in September of 2018. She’s proud to call the Scenic City her home and to tell the community’s stories. Before moving to Chattanooga, Kiley was a reporter in Terre Haute, Indiana. During her two years there, she broke several stories including the cause of an investigation that left an elementary school without safe water for five years. During her time at Hanover College, she reported, anchored, and produced for Hanover’s TV station, HCTV-22. She served as Vice President of Hanover’s Student Broadcast Association. Kiley also interned at WISH-TV in Indianapolis, Indiana.
