Proof is not only a bar and restaurant, but also a collaborative resource and community for food and beverage professionals. When the pandemic suddenly delayed their grand opening in spring of 2020, the Proof team went to work to pivot their model, which included building uniquely designed resources for other restaurants in the community. Fast forward to today, the restaurant side of Proof hosts several up-and-coming restaurateurs and makers in their test kitchen, and their Restaurant Recovery course has been launched in four markets in Tennessee.
At the latest PRSA Lookout Chapter meeting on the February 3, 202, Proof co-founder Mia Littlejohn and marketing specialist Tim Moore shared their best practices on how restaurants — including their own — can show resilience and ultimately pave the way for long-term success amidst uncertain times. Their presentation included insight into how critical communications efforts — such as employee communications, crisis communications and managing channels — can play a significant role in a business’s success.
