Jill Allen, chief operating officer, joined us for our March meeting and shared all about Urban Story Ventures.
The real estate development company doesn’t just work to redevelop spaces, they offer a service to help shape the community. Urban Story Ventures continues to choose properties where they can grow and make an impact. Where many might just jump into a city and start developing, they look at each project within the city, its tenants and area needs.
Allen shared this statement during the presentation, “It doesn’t need more cubicles and beige carpet. Our commercial real estate agency creates spaces for big ideas to become big projects, for local talent to showcase their creativity, and for inspiring stories to be told.”
This Chattanooga based real estate development company shares great content and video clips on the website about projects in Chattanooga where they were able to breathe life into older structures:
- The James Building
- The Dome Building
- The Edney
Here are some fascinating facts and what attendees had an opportunity to learn more about the company:
- 2 million square feet of commercial real estate over almost 200 million acres!
- How Urban Story Ventures setup their brand guideline for consistency and recognition.
- Social media content strategies, what they focus on and how they engage with their audience.
- Tons of information ALL ABOUT THE BEND – Chattanooga’s next great neighborhood!
- The former GE Alstom Property and how they were selected.
- Why hiring Dover, Kohl & Partners were the best choice to help them revamp The Bend.
