Join PRSA Lookout Chapter for our April meeting – with a new day of the week and location! Are you looking to grow in your profession? What does it take to stand out in a competitive environment or how can you reaffirm to your employer that you are the best in the industry?
In honor of Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) Month, join us on Monday, April 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Unum to learn how the APR credential certifies your drive, professionalism, and principles, setting you apart from your peers and positioning you as a leader and mentor in the competitive public relations field.
Learn from local APR certified members about why APR is important, the steps in the process, useful tools to help you achieve accreditation and more!
Additionally, we will spotlight our graduating PRSSA Chapter Members and Lee University’s PRSSA Chapter’s Bateman Case Study Presentation.
NEW MEETING LOCATION!!
Parking and Entrance to Unum:
- The entrance to Unum is on East 5th Street. The easiest way to get there is to take Lookout Street, turn onto East 5th.
- There is a visitor parking lot in front of our entrance. It will be the very last driveway on your right, before the stop sign at Walnut Street.
- Turn right into the lot. The guard shack is unmanned – you can park anywhere it says Visitor.
- Be sure to remember your license plate, so we can let the front desk know so you won’t get a ticket 😊 (and so you can park for free!)
- Once you park, come in the Unum entrance and one of the Unum staffers will meet you at the reception desk to register your car and give you your name tag from security
- Another Unum teammate will escort you to the meeting room
A buffet lunch will be served at the meeting. Please note in your ticket if you have any dietary restrictions or if you are a vegetarian.
