JANEL KASPER-WOLFE

Janel Kasper-Wolfe is an experienced research and communications measurement professional specializing in data-driven strategic communications, performance accountability, and stakeholder engagement Currently serving as the Research and Analytics Lead in NASA’s Office of Communications, Janel plays a key role in fostering a measurement-driven culture across the agency. She leads enterprise-wide performance accountability efforts, integrates research and evaluation into communications strategy, and facilitates the Analytics Community of Practice to advance NASA’s measurement capabilities. Adept at analyzing, synthesizing, and delivering actionable insights, she specializes in leveraging data to enhance strategic decision-making and improve organizational effectiveness.

Janel’s career spans consulting, government contracting, and scientific associations, where she has helped organizations communicate their value to stakeholders through data-driven insights.

She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Wyoming and has received multiple NASA Group Achievement Awards for her contributions to research and strategic communications. Passionate about turning data into compelling narratives, Janel continues to drive initiatives that enhance NASA’s communication effectiveness and decision-making processes.

She holds an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Wyoming and lives in Huntsville, AL. When she’s not analyzing data or shaping strategy, Janel can be found reading, knitting, or white-water rafting. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Bo, and their son, Rainey, and helps take care of their backyard chickens and family farm. Whether lost in a book or tending to the land, she finds balance in both curiosity and connection.
