PRSA Lookout has another volunteer opportunity with the IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga this year, and we’re looking for a few members to help support race day activities while also supporting our chapter through the IRONMAN Foundation grant program.
We are currently seeking four additional volunteers to help staff the Penalty Tent at Ross’ Landing on Sunday, May 17, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Volunteers will assist with ensuring athletes serve assigned time penalties for rule violations, such as drafting, blocking, or littering, before continuing the race. Responsibilities include managing athlete sign-ins and timing using materials provided onsite.
The Penalty Tent is located across from Erwin Marine between Scottie’s on the River and Ross’ Landing. Volunteer positions are open to adults only; however, younger family members are welcome to accompany volunteers at the tent area.
All volunteers must register individually online. During registration, please select “Penalty Tent – Ross’ Landing” and enter PRSA as the group name. Once registered, volunteers will receive a confirmation email from Alex.
