Virtual Program

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

During a pandemic, how are we keeping students safe and our community healthy while meeting learning objectives? And how are families across our community staying informed in a tumultuous time?

At our Nov. 4 program, Jennifer Bronson, Hamilton County Schools’ COVID-19 Response Coordinator, will discuss the decision-making processes around our school system’s COVID-19 response. She’ll also share a communications case study on keeping 42,000 students, their families and our community up to date.

When Bronson joined Hamilton County Schools in July 2019, she never thought she’d have COVID-19 in her title. She launched the Student Success Planning pilot in partnership with Harvard University’s Education Redesign Lab and the By All Means consortium. In August of this year, she became HCS’ COVID-19 Response Coordinator, responsible for helping our schools respond to the pandemic.
