Creating the COVID-19 vaccine in only one year was no small medical feat. The subsequent challenges of communicating vaccine availability and eligibility made for another hurdle. Even now, with the vaccine widely available, communicators face another challenge: encouraging vaccination among hesitant audiences.
In our June program, Kelly Insana with the Tennessee Hospital Association (THA) shares how her team built proactive statewide communications campaigns to promote vaccination. She’ll also address the future of vaccine communication.
THA is a membership association advocating for hospitals, health systems and other health care organizations as well as the patients they serve. The Association also provides education and information for members, and informs the public about hospitals and health care issues at the state and national levels.
Get your ticket today through Eventbrite. Registration for the program at noon on June 2 is free for PRSA members and PRSSA students. The cost is just $10 for non-members.
